Repeals and replaces Section 17b-85 of Connecticut General Statutes, effective July 1, 2016

Recipients of public assistance (dependent child care awards, state supplement, medical assistance, temporary family assistance, or general assistance programs) must notify the commissioner within 10 days of receiving property, wages, income, or resources

Changes requirement for property conveyances from obtaining "consent of" the commissioner to "notifying" the commissioner in writing by mail within seven business days after sale, assignment, transfer, encumbrance, or disposal

Recipients must report changes in application or eligibility information to the commissioner within 10 days, unless good cause is established for delay

Supplemental nutrition assistance program participants follow federal reporting requirements established by the commissioner rather than the standard 10-day notification timeline
