Amends section 9-404c of Connecticut general statutes regarding the filing of primary petition pages with the Secretary of the State, effective July 1, 2016.

Changes the deadline for registrars to file certified petition pages from "within" seven days to "not later than" seven days after receipt of the page.

Registrars must continue to certify the number of petition signers enrolled in the relevant party, reject names not on enrollment lists, and allow names with different street addresses if the voter is eligible and the date of birth matches registration records.

The bill maintains requirements for registrars to provide dated and timed receipts to petition filers and for candidates to send receipt copies to the Secretary of the State.
