Requires municipal legislative bodies to conduct a public hearing before determining the location of polling places when registrars of voters cannot agree on placement.

Mandates notice of public hearings be published in a newspaper with municipal circulation between three and ten days prior to the hearing.

Maintains existing requirement that polling places be determined at least thirty-one days before an election and not changed within that period, with limited exceptions for unusable locations.

Makes technical corrections to Section 9-169 of the general statutes, including changing "senate" to "senatorial" for consistency.

Takes effect upon passage.
