Acknowledges the 1920 partition by the United Kingdom that divided Ireland into Northern Ireland (six counties under UK rule) and Southern Ireland (26 counties, now the Republic of Ireland).

References the Good Friday Agreement ratified on April 10, 1998, as creating a framework and mechanism for resolving the Irish reunification issue.

Calls upon the English and Irish governments to take immediate steps to fulfill the promises of a unified Ireland envisioned by the Good Friday Agreement.

Directs the House Clerk to send copies of this resolution to the ambassadors and leaders of both Ireland and the United Kingdom.
