Adds school paraprofessionals employed by local or regional boards of education to the definition of "service worker" eligible for paid sick leave under Connecticut General Statutes section 31-57r.

Defines covered paraprofessionals as those paid on an hourly basis or not exempt from federal Fair Labor Standards Act minimum wage and overtime requirements.

Maintains existing exclusion of day or temporary workers from the paid sick leave requirements.

Effective date of July 1, 2016.
