Creates a new licensure category for "marital and family therapist associates" in Connecticut, effective October 1, 2016.

Allows individuals with a graduate degree in marital and family therapy and passage of a required examination to obtain an associate license while completing postgraduate experience requirements, with an initial application fee of $125.

Requires associate licenses to expire after 36 months and allows one renewal for an additional 36 months (maximum 6-year licensure period) with a renewal fee of $220.

Maintains existing licensure requirements for full "licensed marital and family therapist" status, including 1,000 hours of direct client contact and 100 hours of postgraduate clinical supervision, with an initial application fee of $315 and annual renewal fee of $320.

Permits associates to use the title "licensed marital and family therapist associate" and allows reciprocal licensure for individuals licensed in other states that maintain equivalent or higher standards.
