Adds exemption for veterinarians, veterinary surgeons, and dentists licensed under chapter 384 from electronic prescription drug monitoring program requirements when prescribing less than an eight-day supply of controlled substances in their professional practice.

Exemption applies only to prescriptions of controlled substances in schedules II, III, IV, and V that are less than eight days in supply.

Effective October 1, 2016.
