Department of Children and Families must submit an annual report by January 15, 2017, and each year thereafter to the joint standing committee on children regarding all children residing or placed in out-of-state facilities

Report must include demographic information, clinical presentations, needs assessments, placement locations, and reasons for out-of-state placements for each child

Report must document any treatment, educational, or other needs that cannot be met within the state for each out-of-state placed child

Takes effect upon passage
