Polls and election day registration locations must remain open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for regular elections and special elections to fill state, district, or municipal offices.

Electors and applicants for election day registration must be in line by 8:00 p.m. to be permitted to vote; election officials shall be positioned at the line at 8:00 p.m. to prevent late arrivals from entering.

Election day registration applicants must appear in person at the registrar-designated location no later than 8:00 p.m. and declare under oath they have not previously voted in the election.

Election day registration applicants must provide proof of residential address through documents such as a learner's permit, utility bill dated within 30 days of the election, or (for students) an institution registration or fee statement showing current address.

Students enrolled at institutions of higher education may submit a current photo identification card from their institution instead of the standard identification required for voter registration.
