Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management shall conduct a study on the impact of requiring all state employees to work a forty-hour work week within available appropriations

Study findings must be reported by October 1, 2016 to the joint standing committees having cognizance of appropriations and state agency budgets and labor and public employees matters

Report shall include a summary of potential positive and negative impacts, including financial impacts, of implementing a forty-hour work week for state employees

Act takes effect upon passage and creates a new section
