Beginning July 1, 2016, the Commissioner of Social Services must provide quarterly data on radiological and imaging services utilization trends in the Medicaid program to the Council on Medical Assistance Program Oversight through June 30, 2017.

The Council on Medical Assistance Program Oversight may review the utilization data to assess the impact on patient access to radiological and imaging services.

The assessment specifically addresses effects from reduced reimbursement rates for radiological and imaging services under Department of Social Services Medicaid state plan amendment 15-020.
