Repeals and replaces Section 7-169c of the general statutes to regulate bingo games operated by senior citizen organizations (membership of persons 60 years or older).

Organizations must register with the Commissioner of Consumer Protection and receive an identification number; admission fees capped at $1 and prize values not to exceed $50.

Only active, uncompensated members may assist in operating bingo games, and organizations must maintain accurate records of receipts and disbursements available for inspection.

Organizations operating under these conditions are exempt from permit requirements under sections 7-169 and 7-169a.

Commissioner of Consumer Protection authorized to adopt regulations to prevent fraud and protect the public; changes take effect from passage.
