Removes redundant language from Section 2-35a describing the joint standing committee's responsibilities for government organization and reorganization oversight.

Removes redundant language from Section 4-38j regarding the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management and department heads' reporting obligations to the government administration committee.

Removes "and elections" from Section 4b-91(h) to clarify that emergency project certifications are submitted to the government administration committee only.

Removes redundant language from Section 19a-16 specifying that requests for regulation of emerging occupations are referred from the public health committee to the government administration committee.

All changes take effect October 1, 2016.
