Adds camera, computer, and cellular mobile telephone repair personnel to Connecticut's list of mandated reporters of child abuse and neglect as a new category (39) in section 17a-101(b).

Mandated reporters are required to report suspected child abuse or neglect to the Department of Children and Families; this expansion applies to anyone employed to repair these devices.

The Commissioner of Children and Families shall develop educational and refresher training programs for all mandated reporters on accurate and prompt identification and reporting of child abuse and neglect.

The bill becomes effective October 1, 2017.
