Authorizes hunting on private property on Sundays by any lawful means, removing the previous restriction that limited Sunday hunting to bow and arrow only.

Eliminates specific requirements that previously applied to Sunday bow hunting, including written landowner permission documentation and deer management zone restrictions.

Maintains the prohibition on hunting within 40 yards of blazed hiking trails on Sundays on private property.

Effective October 1, 2017, with amendments to sections 26-73 and 26-86a of the general statutes.
