Amends Connecticut general statutes to automatically approve cannabidiol investigational products as prescription medications in the state if approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration and rescheduled by the federal Drug Enforcement Administration.

Eliminates the need for separate state approval processes when cannabidiol receives federal approval and DEA rescheduling.

Intended to provide treatment options for children and adults with epilepsy.

Referred to the Committee on General Law during the January 2017 legislative session.
