Requires promoters of boxing matches and mixed martial arts matches to provide health insurance coverage and death benefits for each competitor effective October 1, 2017

Health insurance coverage must provide at least $20,000 in benefits for medical, dental, surgical, and hospital expenses resulting from participation in the match

Death benefit must provide at least $50,000 to the estate of a competitor who dies as a result of participating in the match

Eliminates the bonding requirement that promoters previously had to file with the commissioner before receiving a license to conduct matches

Repeals the tax provisions previously imposed on boxing and mixed martial arts match promoters
