Establishes a green building task force to study green building requirements, effective July 1, 2017.

Task force membership includes 9 members appointed by legislative leaders: representatives from affordable housing, home building, LEED expertise, and solar/electrical installation industries; a municipal fire marshal, conservation director, and planning/zoning director; and energy committee chairpersons and ranking members.

All appointments must be made within 30 days of the effective date, with the first meeting scheduled within 60 days.

Task force must submit a report with findings and recommendations to the joint standing energy committee no later than January 1, 2018, after which the task force terminates.
