No property or casualty insurance policy or contract may be issued unless it specifies that filing a claim by the insured tolls the contractual limitation period for commencing suit until the insurer provides written notice of its decision wholly or partially denying the claim.

Any written notice issued by an insurer wholly or partially denying a property or casualty insurance claim must disclose the date upon which the contractual limitation period for commencing suit expires.

Applies to all insurers issuing property and casualty insurance policies or contracts.
