Amends section 8-30g of the general statutes to include low-cost housing units in the calculation of affordable housing for municipalities.

Allows municipalities to count low-cost housing toward the threshold number of affordable housing units required to qualify for an exemption from the affordable housing land use appeals procedure.

Low-cost housing must constitute at least 15 percent of the total housing in a municipality to be counted under this provision.
