Vehicles must park at least 10 feet from fire hydrants and within 12 inches of the curb on the right side of highways, or 12 inches from the edge of a bikeway or its buffer area if present (effective October 1, 2017).

Parking is prohibited within 25 feet of intersections or marked crosswalks, except where the local traffic authority permits it at one-way street intersections or in areas designed to improve pedestrian visibility (effective October 1, 2017).

Allows vehicles on one-way streets to turn left on a red signal into another one-way street where traffic flows left, after stopping and yielding to pedestrians and other traffic (effective October 1, 2017).

Requires the Commissioner of Transportation to update state road design standards by July 1, 2018, incorporating standards from the National Association of City Transportation Officials Urban Bikeway Design Guide and Urban Street Design Guide (effective July 1, 2017).
