Repeals and replaces section 19a-14b of the general statutes, effective October 1, 2017, to establish new radon reporting requirements.

Requires the Department of Public Health to maintain a list of analytical measurement service providers, residential measurement service providers, and residential mitigation service providers who maintain current certification with the National Radon Safety Board or National Radon Proficiency Program.

Mandates analytical measurement service providers submit comprehensive monthly reports (by the 15th of each month) detailing all radon in-air test results, including location address, building level, test purpose, deployment/retrieval dates, and radon measurements in picocuries per liter.

Requires environmental laboratories to report radon in-water test results to the Commissioner of Public Health by the 15th of the month following analysis, including test location and results in picocuries per liter.

Mandates residential mitigation service providers submit comprehensive reports within 30 days of installing radon control systems, including installation address, system type, installation date, and post-mitigation radon results; non-compliant providers are removed from the state's approved list.
