Commissioner of Social Services shall conduct a study of Medicaid-funded state programs administered under Title XIX of the Social Security Act.

Study shall examine factors affecting quality of care, gaps in access for eligible residents, and whether program provisions comply with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Commissioner must report findings to the joint standing committee on human services by July 1, 2018, and may include recommendations for addressing service gaps and improving access.

Act takes effect upon passage.
