Repeals and replaces Section 18-87j of the general statutes concerning the Criminal Justice Policy Advisory Commission

Changes the commission membership title from "Commissioner of Public Safety" to "Commissioner of Emergency Services and Public Protection"

Maintains the commission structure within the Office of Policy and Management with the undersecretary of the Criminal Justice Policy and Planning Division serving as chairperson

Preserves existing commission composition including court administrators, correction and law enforcement officials, public defenders, mental health services representatives, and board pardons members, plus appointed government officials and community representatives

Effective from passage of the act
