Approves a settlement agreement in the civil action Juan F., et al. v. Dannel Malloy, et al., filed in United States District Court, District of Connecticut (Civil Action No. 2:89CV00859).

Settlement agreement is dated January 6, 2017 and requires expenditure from the General Fund budget exceeding $2,500,000.

Settlement was submitted by the Attorney General to the Assembly for approval pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes section 3-125a.

Referred to the House Committee on Appropriations and received an unfavorable recommendation.
