Increases Connecticut minimum fair wage to $11.00 per hour effective January 1, 2018, $12.00 per hour effective January 1, 2019, $13.00 per hour effective January 1, 2020, $14.00 per hour effective January 1, 2021, and $15.00 per hour effective January 1, 2022

Implements automatic annual adjustments to minimum wage starting July 1, 2022, based on the percentage increase in the consumer price index for the northeast urban area, rounded to the nearest five cents, with new rates effective each January 1st

Requires that the minimum wage automatically increase whenever the federal minimum wage increases, to an amount equal to the federal minimum wage plus one-half of one percent, rounded to the nearest whole cent

Maintains existing provisions for learners, beginners, and workers under age eighteen at eighty-five percent of the minimum fair wage for the first 200 hours of employment, then the full minimum wage thereafter

Effective date of October 1, 2017 for the amendments to Connecticut General Statutes Section 31-58(i)
