Amends section 5-164a of the general statutes to prohibit receipt of retirement income by persons who have retired from state service and subsequently reenter state employment.

Applies to all forms of state reemployment including direct reemployment, election to state office, or appointment to state positions.

Prevents dual receipt of pension and salary payments from the state simultaneously.

Referred to the Committee on Appropriations during the January 2017 session.
