Requires hospitals providing clinical clerkship programs to work in good faith with in-state medical schools to provide clinical placement opportunities to their students, effective July 1, 2017.

Hospitals providing more than 50 percent of clinical clerkships to out-of-state medical students must submit annual reports to the public health joint standing committee starting September 1, 2017.

Reports must include the number and nature of clinical clerkship programs offered during the previous academic year and identify each school of medicine whose students participated in those programs.
