Reduces hunting, trapping, and fishing license fees to 50% of standard rates for Connecticut residents who are veterans with a service-connected disability rating of 10% or more from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Reduces permit, tag, and stamp fees to 50% of standard rates for veterans with a service-connected disability rating of 10% or more, rounded to the next highest dollar.

Requires the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection to demand proof of disability rating from veterans applying for discounted licenses.

Maintains existing 50% discount for residents aged 16-17 for hunting and fishing licenses and for residents under 18 for permits, tags, and stamps.

Takes effect October 1, 2017.
