Amends subsection (h) of section 10-145d of the general statutes to allow licensed marital and family therapists to perform social worker functions in public schools.

Applies to therapists licensed under section 20-195c and employed by local or regional boards of education as marital and family therapists.

Increases access to counseling positions for licensed mental health professionals in public school systems.

Expands counseling services available to public school students by allowing qualified therapists to serve in social worker roles.
