Commissioner of Children and Families must conduct a study to evaluate the efficacy of programs affecting children in the state, within available appropriations.

Study findings must be reported to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to children on or before February 1, 2018.

The reporting requirement follows the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes.

The act takes effect on July 1, 2017.
