Joint standing committee chairpersons having cognizance of commerce matters shall appoint and convene a working group to inventory educational resources at public and private higher education institutions for bioscience career preparation

Working group membership shall include representatives from the commerce committee, Department of Economic and Community Development, Connecticut Innovations Incorporated, Board of Regents for Higher Education, regional community-technical colleges, University of Connecticut, a private institution, and a bioscience industry association

First working group meeting must be scheduled no later than 60 days after the effective date, with all appointments completed within 30 days

Working group members shall not receive mileage reimbursement or transportation allowances for attending meetings

Working group shall submit a report with inventory findings and legislative recommendations to the commerce and higher education committees by January 15, 2018, and shall terminate upon report submission or January 15, 2018, whichever is later
