Repeals all statutory references to the Legislative Program Review and Investigations Committee, effective July 1, 2017, removing the committee from various reporting and oversight requirements across multiple state agencies and functions.

Eliminates requirements for quasi-public agencies to submit audit reports and annual reports to the Legislative Program Review and Investigations Committee, redirecting reporting to the Governor and relevant joint standing committees instead.

Removes the Legislative Program Review and Investigations Committee from receiving reports on federal grant funding maximization efforts, professional liability insurance reviews, state police policy reviews, and apprenticeship training programs.

Repeals the authority of the Legislative Program Review and Investigations Committee to compel witness testimony, conduct program reviews and investigations, and receive confidential information from the Judicial Review Council regarding judicial conduct complaints.

Repeals sections 2-53d to 2-53j and 2c-1 through 2c-8 of the general statutes, which established and governed the Legislative Program Review and Investigations Committee and its operations.
