Establishes a working group to study and make recommendations regarding the search and seizure of students' personal electronic devices

Working group consists of 12 members including representatives from the Commission on Women, Children and Seniors, Department of Education, Connecticut Legal Services, boards of education, school superintendents, education association, criminal defense lawyers, public defender's office, ACLU, Center for Children's Advocacy, Division of Criminal Justice, and CTCORE-Organize Now!

First meeting must be scheduled within 60 days of the effective date of the act by the Commission on Women, Children and Seniors

Working group shall elect two chairpersons from its membership and receive administrative support from the Commission on Women, Children and Seniors

Working group must submit findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee with cognizance of education matters by January 1, 2019, at which point the working group terminates
