Prohibits former legislative branch state employees from accepting employment or acting as a lobbyist of the legislative branch for one year after leaving state service.

Adds a new subsection (l) to Connecticut General Statutes Section 1-84b to establish the one-year restriction on former legislative employees engaging in lobbying activities.

Effective date of October 1, 2018 for all provisions amending Section 1-84b.

Applies existing post-employment restrictions for other state employees and public officials to the legislative branch workforce for the first time.
