Establishes a task force to study publicly funded transportation issues for persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and veterans, including examination of best practices from other states and current service gaps.

Task force comprises 10 members including two appointed by the House Speaker (one with expertise in disability/senior transportation, one in veterans affairs), two by Senate president pro tempore, one each from House and Senate majority and minority leaders, and four state commissioners or designees.

All task force appointments must be made within 30 days of the effective date, with first meeting required within 60 days and chaired by members selected by the House Speaker and Senate president pro tempore.

Task force must submit findings and recommendations to joint standing committees on aging, human services, transportation, and veterans affairs no later than January 1, 2019.

Commission on Women, Children and Seniors provides administrative staff support; task force terminates upon report submission or January 1, 2019, whichever occurs later.
