Eliminates statute of limitations for prosecuting class B felony violations of sexual assault sections 53a-70 and 53a-70a, class D felony violations of section 53a-73a, and violations of sections 53a-70b, 53a-71, 53a-72a, and 53a-72b.

Eliminates statute of limitations for any offense involving sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, or sexual assault of a minor, removing the previous 30-year limit from victim's age of majority or 5-year limit from reporting.

Establishes a 10-year statute of limitations for class A misdemeanor violations of section 53a-73a.

Effective October 1, 2018, and applies to offenses committed on or after that date and to prior offenses where the previous statute of limitations had not yet expired.

Repeals section 54-193b of the general statutes.
