State Contracting Standards Board shall conduct triennial audits of state contracting agencies to ensure compliance with procurement statutes and regulations, effective October 1, 2018.

Board shall prepare and issue a compliance report to the audited agency within 30 days of audit completion, identifying any processes inconsistent with procurement requirements and recommending corrective measures.

Audited state contracting agencies may submit a written response to the board's report within 60 days of receipt, with both the report and response designated as public records.

After receiving an agency response or after the 60-day period expires, whichever is earlier, the board may submit the report and any response to relevant joint standing committees overseeing the agency, appropriations, and government administration.
