Commission on Equity and Opportunity shall convene a working group no later than July 1, 2018 to study housing options for persons reentering the community after incarceration.

Working group shall recommend an evidence-based housing policy for individuals reentering the community after incarceration.

Working group shall include employees of the Commission on Equity and Opportunity, the Commissioner of Housing (or designee), the Commissioner of Correction (or designee), and community stakeholders.

Commission on Equity and Opportunity shall submit a report of the working group's recommendations to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of housing matters no later than January 1, 2019.
