Amends Connecticut's worker cooperative law to permit nonprofit organizations exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) to become members of worker cooperatives, in addition to individuals.

Modifies the definition of "member" to include nonprofit organizations alongside natural persons who own membership shares in a worker cooperative.

Maintains the existing requirement that at least 50 percent of all employees must be members of the worker cooperative.

Clarifies membership qualification standards and acceptance procedures through worker cooperative articles of organization and bylaws, with provisions for membership termination.

Effective October 1, 2018.
