Repeals and replaces Section 9-750 of the general statutes to modify how insufficiencies in the Citizens' Election Fund are addressed.

Allows revenues from the tax imposed under chapter 208 to be deposited into the Citizens' Election Fund if the required deposit amount under section 3-69a falls short during any fiscal year.

Creates an alternative funding source using unclaimed or abandoned property funds under part III of chapter 32 to cover insufficiencies that occur during an election cycle when the Citizens' Election Fund lacks sufficient funds for candidate grants.

Requires that any deposits made from tax revenues under the first provision be deducted from the Citizens' Election Fund deposit in the following fiscal year to avoid double-funding.

Takes effect immediately upon passage.
