Creates a new crime of falsely reporting an incident involving an employee, effective October 1, 2018.

Applies to persons who knowingly report false or baseless information to an employer about an employee, including false allegations of offenses, impending incidents, or false information related to actual incidents.

Excludes reports about employees hired by one's parents, spouse, or child; applies to employers with one or more employees, including the state and political subdivisions.

Classifies the offense as a class A misdemeanor.
