Automatically transfers cases from juvenile docket to regular criminal docket for children charged with capital felony, class A felony, class B felony, or violation of section 53a-54d committed after age 15, if counsel is appointed for indigent defendants.

Adds automatic transfer requirement for any felony offense if the child was previously adjudicated delinquent for two or more felony offenses or if the offense resulted in injury to an innocent person.

Allows state's attorney to file motion to transfer class B felony cases back to juvenile docket after arraignment on regular criminal docket.

Requires court hearing for transfer of other felonies (class C, D, E, and unclassified) with consideration of prior offenses, seriousness, intellectual disability or mental illness, and availability of juvenile services.

Takes effect October 1, 2018.
