Amends Connecticut General Statutes Section 7-148(c)(10) to allow municipalities to prescribe increased penalties for repeated violations of ordinances within a one-year period.

Permits municipalities to impose penalties up to $500 for a repeated violation of the same ordinance that results in issuance of a subsequent citation, compared to the standard maximum of $250 for first violations.

Allows municipal officers to enforce regulations and ordinances through written citations, provided regulations are specifically designated for citation enforcement and a written warning is issued before citation (except for dirt bike, all-terrain vehicle, and mini-motorcycle operation violations).

Takes effect October 1, 2018.
