Commemorates the nineteenth anniversary of the Connecticut-Taiwan sister-state relationship, which has encompassed cultural, educational, and economic exchanges.

Recognizes Connecticut's 138 million dollars in exports to Taiwan in 2016, making Taiwan a major foreign market for the state.

Acknowledges Taiwan as a democracy and free-market economy sharing values with the United States, and notes Taiwan's inclusion in the U.S. Visa Waiver Program and Global Entry.

Supports Taiwan's participation in international organizations including the World Health Assembly (WHA) as an observer since 2009, ICAO, and INTERPOL.

Directs the Connecticut General Assembly clerks to send a copy of the resolution to President Tsai Ing-wen through the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York.
