Allows unexpended CTNext Fund deposits from fiscal years subsequent to the deposit date to be used for any purpose described in subsection (e) of section 32-39i, rather than being restricted to their original designated uses

Applies the expanded fund flexibility to deposits made for: designated innovation places and networking grants (subsection 4), higher education entrepreneurship grants (subsection 5), and growth grants (subsection 8)

Requires the CTNext board of directors to notify the joint standing committees on commerce and finance, revenue and bonding within 30 days before using any unexpended funds under these provisions, including the reason for such use

Effective July 1, 2018
