Amends section 22a-359(d) of the general statutes to establish how coastal jurisdiction lines are determined upstream of man-made water control structures.

For tidal, coastal, or navigable waters upstream of tide gates, weirs, or other tidal flow-modifying devices, the coastal jurisdiction line shall be set at the mean high water elevation found at the downstream location of such device.

Extends the same principle to waters upstream of pipes, culverts, or similar man-made structures, with the coastal jurisdiction line determined by the mean high water elevation at the downstream location of the structure.

Takes effect October 1, 2018.
