Requires Connecticut public schools to include climate change instruction consistent with the Next Generation Science Standards in their science curriculum, effective October 1, 2018.

Adds climate change as a mandatory subject matter to the existing list of required instruction in public schools, alongside arts, mathematics, language arts, social studies, and other core subjects.

Authorizes the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to provide curriculum development assistance to local and regional boards of education for climate change instruction.
