Department of Economic and Community Development, in collaboration with Connecticut Innovations Incorporated, Labor Department, Department of Education, Board of Regents for Higher Education, and University of Connecticut, shall conduct a study on the state's cybersecurity job training pipeline

Study shall include an inventory of educational resources available at public and private educational institutions in the state for preparing students for careers in cybersecurity

Department must submit report of study results to joint standing committees of the General Assembly with cognizance over commerce, education, and higher education matters by January 1, 2019

Act takes effect upon passage
