Repeals and replaces Section 7-275 of the general statutes, effective July 1, 2019, governing boards of police commissioners.

Requires boards of police commissioners to elect a chairman and clerk, hold regular meetings, and maintain records of those meetings.

Establishes that meetings may be called by the chairman or a majority of board members, with a majority of members constituting a quorum.

Prohibits towns, cities, or boroughs from imposing requirements on the time or place of police commissioner board meetings beyond those specified in the Freedom of Information Act.

Authorizes the board of selectmen to fill vacancies on the board by majority vote until the next town election.
